An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in our office in Dubai, UAE for a Talent Resourcing Partner - Middle East.


The main goal of this position is to focus on the recruitment operations, interacting internally with hiring managers across different business units, and externally with job applicants and recruitment services suppliers. This includes contributing to the effective implementation of recruitment policies and procedures and the transformation of the Recruitment function into a center of excellence that provides premium recruitment services for the region.

Main tasks and Responsibilities:

• Discussing and agreeing with hiring managers the recruitment plan of the vacant positions and delivery time.
• Providing periodic updates on progress and advice on sourcing channels and highlighting expected costs.
• Drafting vacancy advertisements in line with AkzoNobel branding centre and posting it internally (one web, emails) and externally (job boards, linkedin, etc.)
• Utilising cost effective channels in sourcing candidates including: Employee referrals and Social Media.
• Building relationships with new recruitment agencies and maintaining relationship with the existing ones regionally and internationally to maintain a solid PSL (preferred suppliers list).
• Organising and attending employment fairs and exhibitions, and liaising with universities’ career centers.
• Screening CVs of applicants to ensure suitability for the roles.
• Arranging and conducting competency based and behavioural interviews and providing feedback reports.
• Assessing candidates using various assessment tools including: psychometric tests, ability tests, assessment centres, and relevant technical tests.
• Preparing, communicating and negotiating the offer with the selected candidate in conjunction with the HRBP. Liaising with the HR admin on contract preparation and related documents.
• Advising candidates on the visa process and time frames.
• Ensuring the selected candidates satisfy work permit requirements in the country they will be recruited for i.e. Degree attestations, Labour approvals, etc.
• Generate and maintain reports of recruitment activities and progress on weekly basis.
• Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

This challenging position requires a HR, Psychology, or Business graduate who has minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in an in-house environment. Knowledge in the Middle East recruitment market and labour/visa laws in the Middle East region is a distinct advantage. Experience working in a multicultural, multi-site and matrix organisation structure will be a distinct advantage. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, Arabic is a plus with strong MS Office skills for professional reporting and keeping an efficient administration.
