The Technical Business Partner team supports our external customers and internal sales organization within the South Europe sub region.  


Key activities include offering complete technical support, resolving technical questions and issues, qualifying products to protect and to extend the current business, and building strong partnership relationships with existing and new customers.


Specific Tasks:


-       Offers total technical support to customers.


-       Problem solving. Analyzes product-related issues, including on-site analysis and actuations. Performs laboratory analysis of the issues when needed. Communicates with RSLab and/or Quality Control department to establish corrective actions.


-       Able to manage complex customer complaints.


-       Gathers customer needs and requirements in cooperation with Sales & Marketing organization to help build the customer strategy plans.


-       Actively participates in key phases of the sales process to prospects.


-       Proactively prevents and solves problems of a technical nature occurring at existing customers.


-       Attends the testing process as well as the implementation of new products and technologies.


-       Develops and maintains relationships with customer technical  staff, in order to keep and to extend the business.


-       Uses reporting tools as CRM, up-dates the key customers’ databases with valid, accurate and complete information (visits reports, action reports, cases, regulatory requests…)


-       Delivers periodical progress reports, proactively submits information regarding trends within the market and provides recommendations regarding the improvements in the approach to the market.


-       Monitors competitive activities at customers’ facilities.


-       Promotes the positive company reputation and develops long-term relations with customers. Holds and defends the values of the company.


-       Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal behavior / HSE standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.

Job requirements/Candidate profile


-       Degree in Chemistry or in Engineering


-       Fluent English and Italian


-       Solid background in technical service assistance to customers, preferably in coatings industry.


-       Able to travel 50% of the working time.


-       Customer Focused, Deliver on Commitments, Passion for Excellence.


-       Behavioral competences: interpersonal effectiveness, collaborative, effective communication, teamwork, withstands pressure, ability to prioritize, results orientation.
