As a result of the ambitious growth plans, an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in our office in Bahrain for a Sales Representative.

Responsibility

The main role of this position is to contribute to the execution of agreed sales and profitability targets established by the SMU within the assigned sales area by acquiring new business and maintaining existing customers.


 Main tasks and Responsibilities:


• Manage a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan.
• Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generates leads and maintains pipeline.
• Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development plans/targets.
• Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and where necessary the need for remedial actions are identified, reported and implemented.
• Identifies, targets and implements the approved sales strategies in the assigned marketplace.
• Promotes the positive company image and develops long-term relations with the customers.
• Plans, executes and reports on the sales activities in the assigned sales area.
• Identifies business opportunities, pinpoints and tries to resolve existing and/or potential problems and requests support from the upper management.
• Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

The successful candidate will be having minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Wood Finishing & Adhesives industry. Applicant must have strong customer focused acumen, influencing and negotiation skills. Candidate should be self-motivated and be able to work independently. Experience working in a multicultural, multi-site and matrix organization structure will be an advantage. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Driving license in based country will be a plus.
