The role will ensure availability, optimised inventory levels and PO integrity of assigned materials through usage of planning systems. The Material Planning manager will also monitor performance to ensure that materials are available for the agreed supply plan and that materials planning targets are met. They will identify and drive actions to improve the supply and availability of materials within the production sites.

The IBP Lead works with project stream leads to set up a robust Product, Demand and Supply streams which will be reconciled in the systems and facilitates an effective IBP cycle which deliver an integrated view for all streams, and in turn help develop and execute a strong integrated business plan for the management to review for the entity he/she coordinates.


-       Focus on implementing a number of key strategic supply chain planning projects.

-       In coordination with the Production Planning manager in the South Asia region, set-up and support regional / local S&OP processes, with particular focus on raw material availability as well as packaging.

-       Inputs to the inventory policy for materials and Inputs to the replenishment policies used for materials supplied into the business.

-       Performs and supports sites in performing ABC-XYZ consumption analysis to optimize stocking policies for raw materials.

-       Oversees the planning and scheduling of materials into production sites

-       Delivers targets such as working capital reduction and materials availability improvement.

-       Responsible for leading cross functional reconciliation, coordination of review meetings including agenda, preparation of decision support materials, and driver of decision making

Job requirements/Candidate profile

-       Degree qualified in Supply Chain Management or related education.

-       At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Planning, S&OP with 2 years in a lead role.

-       Familiar with regional supply chain and commercial collaborations

-       Proven track record in driving strategic projects in a cross functional and highly matrix environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities

-       Pro-active and independent project manager who is resourceful and adaptable

-       Demonstrate abilities interacting with different levels (senior and operational) within a regional/ global organization.

-       Excellent knowledge level of S&OP and good understanding of Integrated Business Planning and able to enthuse the broader organization in the IBP process.
