Responsibility


  • Implement and adhere to AkzoNobel credit policy
  • Daily cash collection activity on all customers, progressing via telephone, letter, email etc to minimize overdue trade receivables
  • Progressing trade receivables with the customer service, sales and commercial teams to remove barriers to cash collection
  • Inform management of collections and credit issues and work closely with the business to resolve credit and billing issues
  • Develop measures to reduce and control overdue trade receivables
  • Establish and control credit limits for new and existing customers
  • Prepare credit rating reports on customers
  • Investigate financial strength of credit applications and credit limit change requests
  • Define and deploy overdue debt improvement action plans to reduce overdue levels to within BA targets, improving OWC through AR reduction
  • Identify and recommend changes to O2C/Credit policies and procedures to improve overall performance
  • Alignment, sharing and implementation of best practices within regional team
  • Foster communication and teamwork within and across organisational and functional boundaries

Job requirements/Candidate profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related fields
  • At least 5 years experiences in AR accounting especially in credit control
  • SAP knowledge would be advantage
  • Strong analysis - Problem Solving - Negotiation skills, Work under pressure and tight deadline
  • Attitude “Can Do” and play as teamwork is a must.
  • Having a good communication in English would be advantage
  • Target oriented, able to work under pressure & tight dead line are necessary
  • Being enthusiastic and willing to learn new things and advanced know-how
  • Having a good skill of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
