An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Procurement Officer to join our team based at our Sunshine North site.

 

The purpose of this role is to purchase goods on time and at the lowest total cost to the company, within specification, to ensure that the supply chain can deliver to our customers on time and in full.

Responsibility

The specific tasks of the role will include:


- Order raw material, finished goods and sundry products in line with ERP and requisition demands.
- Liaise with the Procurement Manager and Production Planners so that goods are received in a timely manner.
- Maintain purchasing data, for example; prices, safety stocks, order quantities, lead times;
- Monitor, report and improve supplier performance utilising the supplier performance report, so that product is consistently delivered on time in full and within specification;
- Maintain all international benchmark reports and produce general KPI reports, as required by the Procurement Manager to monitor and improve the procurement and business performance;
- Assisting with possible improvements of the purchasing system to ensure that effective and efficient stock management procedures are applied.
