Responsible Care

Responsible Care

We know that no company, no matter how large or how small, operates in a vacuum, and that every aspect of its activities can affect its staff, its customers, its host community and the environment. Our aim is to do everything in our power to ensure that our activities are not only a source of general benefit, but have as little adverse effect on health, safety and the environment as is humanly and technically possible.

In our view, care for people and the environment is a prerequisite for our long-term success. We comply with environmental laws and regulations as a matter of course.

To help us to realise and adhere to the above aims, we have adopted the principles of the Programme of Responsible Care set out by the International Council of Chemical Associations. These have been incorporated into our Policy on Health, Safety, Environment, as summarised below. We are, of course, certificated in accordance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
