Responsibilities
- Support assemble and lead cross-functional teams to capture pricing opportunities
- Analyze ongoing pricing performance and identify new pricing opportunities
- Act as support and analytic thought partner for pricing-, product, and sales leadership on pricing-related issues
- Support development of long-term pricing strategy for complex products/services
- Prepare management communication about pricing implementation status
- Align approach and output format and support operationalize approach with sales teams to ensure successful implementation
- Performs data collection, cleansing, validation and analysis and creates comprehensive insights
- Designs and adapts Pricing Excellence (PE) tools
- Identifies and develops PE improvements and capabilities based on new insights
- Supports Pricing Implementation Managers to report on progress on a continuous base and ensuring that the reporting line is fully informed
- Leads specific working sessions in design and implementation activities where needed
- Identifies, reports and discusses key issues and develops action plans with the Pricing Implementation managers
- Shares experiences and best practices in and between Pricing-, Marketing- and  Sales Excellence and BUs
- Data analysis related methodology
- BU and cross functional interactions

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Experience:- Bachelors Degree, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in a commercial environment
- Project management experience
- Experience with working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, from start to implementation and delivering results

- Skills:- Excellent in English
- Excellent in MS-Office applications, ERP/BW and CRM
- Analytic skills to construct/execute multiple complex analyses (e.g., segmentation, value/ benefit map, and value to customers)
- Strong research and synthesis skills (e.g., translate analysis and fact into implications and recommendations)
- Expertise in use of analytics, statistics and visualization SW is a plus (e.g., Tableau, R, Alteryx, SAS)
 

- Personal:- Proactive, robust and pragmatic approach 
- Networker with good people skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to high demand travel; could be as much as 70% at times 
- Attention to details

Preferred work location is High Point, NC. Willing to consider candidates residing near AkzoNobel office locations in Strongsville OH, Columbus OH and Troy MI.
