Job Description
The role of Product Manager Color Automotive OEM reports to the Color Products Manager and is part of the Color Marketing department. Right First time and color formula availability is essential and is a driver of success of the business.

This role focuses on the following business topics:
- Identify delivery capabilities and planning of color work via LWR / FD lego in cooperation with the main stakeholders: RD&I, Color RD&I and BU for in time delivery and maintenance of our customer color formulations
- Product Maintenance / project Management in cooperation with stakeholders like product managers, segment managers but also Color RD&I, BA Color RD&I.
- Quality assurance for all processes in the color area
- An attractive and efficient color product offer for our BU customers
- Quality assurance for all processes in the color area
- Support the segment in improving color offering and color process by identifying areas of improvements and implement these to decrease lead times of color availability.
- Data management for Color DMS – ensure the right input and output.
- Toner Assortment: Participates in Product Development Projects as Color Marketing
- Management of the Aerospace segment: Representative in order to gather business requirements and develops new toner/formula assortment structures and transfers these into color action plans. Participates in project planning, development and test market of new products, and advises about Go/No-Go project decisions towards project team and TAMM. Initiates test set up for color feasibility and color verification testing. Defines and plans with the Color RD&I team in Bangalore regarding work packages (e.g. color feasibility, verification & Reformulation Projects) Maintains the Marketing relevant information in the toner/formula assortment database.
- Effective formula assortment: Aligns with segments the needed color offer based on market info, competitor analysis and other information. Develops color maintenance and rationalization programs for operational products. Executes the approved programs: determines the process to make or (re)calculate the color formulas, make the program planning and manages the performance..
- Support: Ensures introduction of toners according to BU guidelines, Delivers color work requests to the Color RD&I department regarding color product activities. Keep the related Quality Manual methods up-to-date.
- Improvement suggestions: Suggests and implements improvements of investigation/test methods and/or processes based on the evaluation of the executed investigation programs. Signalizes possibilities to improve the efficiency and the quality of the color product management process.
- Reports: Report on color activity for accountable segment like KPI reporting, customer complaints etc.
- Marketing outputs: Responsible for the maintenance of toner and formulas in the Color Database; taking the marketing outputs in account. For each segment an updated color formula database is prepared for the end customers. These updates also include data related to product introductions and toner changes. The planning and changes involved need to be aligned with all stakeholders and clearly communicated.

- HBO thinking and working level
- Marketing education and good understanding of marketing.
- Chemical understanding of paint and pigment knowledge is a pre.
- Experience in Color & IT related areas is a pro
- High level Analytical skills
- Result driven and flexible pro-active team player,
- Coordination and organizational skills, with good project management skills
- Excellent formal and informal international communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
