Summary of Position
The Sourcing Support Specialist is responsible to support the Indirect Procurement Category Managers with analytics, performance management, sourcing expertise and medium value buys. The role is collaborating heavily with the Category Managers from different spend areas, as well as regional stakeholders.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities


- Liaison to align cross-functional objectives in order to realize cost savings across the company, as well as sharing of best practices across spend categories and regions
- Analysis of data independently, while finding opportunities to improve indirect spend as a whole 
- Collect market data that will be used for development of new policies/solutions as well as benchmarking ourselves against competitors
- Provide contract management support (templates and management)
- Build active and positive relationship with their key Procurement stakeholders
- Develop strong understanding of our ERP systems and analytical tools that will help in producing key data/improved user experience
- Perform external market research and supplier pre-qualification activities
- Provide analytics support through spend/process analyses
- Provide performance management support through Supplier performance reporting (Q, D, C, I, S) and Indirect procurement impact tracking and reporting
- Manage the collection of user requirements across all business units
- Perform supplier selection activities in partnership with appropriate Business Unit and other procurement constituents
- Use market knowledge and data analysis to identify savings opportunities and contribute to a future pipeline of opportunities that meet category specific targets
- Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and best practices
- Look for opportunities for continuous process any system improvements
- Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of current industry best practices and continuously improve professional skills and technical expertise
- Provide tendering support to category managers (RFQ templates and release, quote receipts and comparison)
- Execute medium-value (10-100k) spot buys with Category Manager guidance
- Develop complexity reduction and Tail-End spend management strategies
- Be the champion for their defined area of spend, including category and market / country, knowing the right sources of supply, the policies applicable and the compliance requirements as well as the external sources that can be contacted to meet the overall business requirement
o   Identify alternatives for procurement and develop market know how 
o   Support and optimize supplier selection
o   Support and monitor / report contracting process
o   Support and anayse vendor relationships 
o   Propose new/improved tools and improve ways of using existing Information management

Job requirements/Candidate profile


-           Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience (Msc/MBA preferred)
-           Experience of sourcing, including processes, ways of working, documentation and compliance requirements
-           Fluent in English is mandatory, both written and spoken; any other language is a plus
-           Procurement accreditations (e.g. CPM/APICS) desirable
-           Capable of analysing complex finance processes and issues
-           Experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Six Sigma is a plus
-           Excellent communicator with different management layers in different functions (Finance, Procurement, IM) and in different parts of the company (BU, GBS and BPO)
-           Ability to apply market knowledge to sourcing projects to create extra value for stakeholders
-           Strong knowledge of procurement practices and sourcing/supply chain trends and dynamics
-           Excellent analytical, problem solving and influential skills
-           Ability to analyse complex data and use this to develop sourcing opportunities
-           Ability to build relationships across the organization and all geographic regions
-           Quick learner; absorbs information and concepts quickly
-           Strong background in data analysis, excellent project management knowledge and ability to deliver significant sustainable business results independently
-           Ability to work independently
-           Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize activities
