Brand and Product Customer Advisor
£24,000 per annum + benefits including pension and private health schemes, life assurance and more
We are looking for Brand and Product (Dulux , Cuprinol, Hammerite and Polycell )Customer Advisors to join our Customer Technical Advice Centre in Slough. In this role you are required to provide a superior level of customer service by supporting customers with product and service queries through all forms of communication; telephone, in writing (email & letters) and on social media platforms.

As a Customer Advisor you are a key point of contact for customers, providing them with expert technical advice and specification advice on all AkzoNobel decorative brands and products. You will also handle and resolve customer complaints by agreeing and negotiating settlements that work for the customer and the business. You will update customer record updates on our CRM accurately too. Important will be the ability to follow our processes and procedures as well as champion our products and services to turn complaints into opportunities. In addition you will share customer feedback to the wider business to ensure we continue to offer the best in class customer service.
With experience working in a customer service telephone based environment, you will have a professional telephone manner and excellent listening, spoken and written skills, a problem solver, complaint handling & trouble shooting skills. Able to pick up technical knowledge quickly, you will be a good at prioritising and work well as part of a team. Of course you must have good PC skills and be comfortable using MS Office and other business CRM systems. In addition you will be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
