We are now recruiting a Specifier Development Manager to build relationships with key strategic specifiers and ensure the effective implementation of specifier supply chain agreements across the territory.

 

As Specifier Development Manager you will increase sales and market share by building excellent relationships with key specifiers and acting as the pivotal link that cascades national specifier supply chain agreements to regional offices. You will develop a contact strategy and deliver compelling value propositions to specifier clients too. We will also look to you to become recognised as a ’coatings industry expert’ by monitoring and reporting on sector developments and competitor activities. In addition you will create, maintain and implement the regional business plan. Important will be the ability to spot gaps in the market for new product development too.

Of graduate calibre, you must have extensive experience in a senior sales/customer facing role and be used to deploying market customer insights to drive a sector leading position. Good at developing relationships at all levels you can also demonstrate excellent communication and financial skills as well as the ability to design and execute strategic customer plans. Self-motivated, you are comfortable at prioritising your workload, excel at achieving targets and are resilient in negotiations. A full driving licence is essential too.
