AkzoNobel develops paint range for Martha Stewart Living brand

AkzoNobel, in partnership with The Home Depot in North America, today announced that it has developed a new range of high quality paints under the prestigious Martha Stewart Living brand.

AkzoNobel, in partnership with The Home Depot in North America, today announced that it has developed a new range of high quality paints under the prestigious Martha Stewart Living brand.

The complete line of low-Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) interior and exterior paints will be available exclusively in The Home Depot stores throughout the U.S. and in Canada starting early next year – just in time for the busy spring home improvement season.

“This is an exciting new initiative which will not only strengthen our existing links with the world’s largest home improvement retailer, but will also provide a superior product for the legions of loyal Martha Stewart brand followers,” said Erik Bouts, Managing Director of AkzoNobel Decorative Paints United States.

“As the world’s largest paint company, we are always looking for ways to innovate and excite customers and this extensive new range will broaden the array of products we offer to do-it-yourself customers at The Home Depot.”

In addition to providing product development, merchandising support and manufacturing, color experts from AkzoNobel have worked closely with representatives from The Home Depot and the Martha Stewart Living brand to develop the palette of 280 distinctive colors, which will be available in four interior sheens and three exterior sheens.

The availability of Martha Stewart Living paints builds on the growing portfolio of home décor products that the media and merchandising company recently announced it will offer within The Home Depot.

The new paint line will be supported by a national media campaign, which is scheduled to start early next year.
