Approximately one-seventh of people on the planet still lack access to safe water. There is a total of 1.386 billion cubic kilometers of water on earth covering 70,8% of the total surface. But only 2,5% is fresh water. About 0,26% of all fresh water is in rivers and lakes that can be used by people and life of earth.
