Responsibility

- Development of a coherent regional Logistics (cross BA) network, aligned with the company Logistics Strategy, including assessments, modelling & simulation,  logistics mode selection
- Provides support for the implementation of Logistics change projects
- Deploy the standardized  processes for Logistics
- Manage all regional Logistics commercial/sourcing activities (RFQ’s, contracts etc), delegating to local Logistics operations staff as appropriate
- Recognized specialist in a specific logistics mode/category, coordinating best practice across the regions
- Lead the continuous Logistics assessment and benchmarking to identify improvements opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of the Logistics Market within the region. Leverage regional and global synergies
- Provide rapid support to assist “deliver” personnel when issues are raised
- Lead the regional Logistics Managent network in which all Logistics representatives of the Business
- Develop logistics digitalization in line with company logistics strategy

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a Dynamic Multi National BtB and/or BtC Supply Chain organization
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills and ability to influence and guide others
- Ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Experience to implement, manage and optimize large (Logistics) change programs
- Logistics market knowledge and identification of external developments
- Skilled in communication in the English language in writing and spoken word
- Stress resistance, flexible, problem solving attitude with a strong focus on results
