The Night Watch by Rembrandt is one of the world’s most famous paintings – and we’re honored to be part of a major project to conserve it. We’ve teamed up with the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam for a trailblazing partnership which involves major investigation and conservation work on this acclaimed masterpiece. 

Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer

The original splendor of Girl with a Pearl Earring, by Dutch Golden Age painter Johannes Vermeer, is being revealed thanks to our expertise. Our collaboration with The Mauritshuis museum in The Hague and TU Delft brings the worlds of art and science together to shed new light on the painting’s history and provide valuable insights into its transformation over time.

Every year, together with the Instituto Tomie Ohtake in São Paulo, Brazil, we present the Instituto Tomie Ohtake AkzoNobel Architecture Award. The award recognizes inventive projects in Brazilian architecture and seeks to consider a wide range of ideas and programs. As a result, the accolade itself now defines the paths taken by modern architects in the country.
