Simon Parker

Simon Parker joined the Executive Committee in February 2023.

Simon has 35 years of experience in multinational businesses and more than 25 years of experience within Coatings, having been responsible for many business transformations and restructurings in the operating units of AkzoNobel. He joined the company in 1997 and held various business leadership positions before his current responsibilities as business unit Director for both Marine and Protective Coatings, and Industrial Coatings. Early career positions at 3M Corporation in marketing and commercial roles were followed by 8 years in a major operating unit of ChevronTexaco.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Management and Business Administration from Aston Business School and was jointly awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise and Innovation.
