Environmental Honor For ANAC

Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings Inc (ANAC) has been rewarded for its outstanding efforts to protect the environment.

ANAC, which has its main ISO and QS certified manufacturing facilities in the USA, Italy and the Netherlands, has proudly accepted membership into the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Achievement Track.

The honor is bestowed upon companies regarded as being the pace-setters and environmental leaders in the public and private sectors and ANAC is one of only 250 facilities in the whole of America to have received membership.

“Your voluntary effort to push the envelope, exceed requirements and seek maximum opportunity rather than minimum acceptability shows EPA that Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings is contributing to our nation’s environmental health,” said Carol Browner, administrator for the EPA.

Early last year, ANAC’s facility in Waukegan, Illinois, also earned STAR status in the U.S. OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Agency) Voluntary Protection Program.

ANAC delivers a complete line of aerospace coatings systems, backed by a global distribution network.
