Akzo Nobel’s Car Refinishes business in Italy has clinched a major contract with the Genoa-based company Tagliafico Santo.
Founded in 1904, Tagliafico is one of the world’s leading urban décor companies, specializing in the design and manufacture of streetlights and lampposts.
Many of the world’s finest squares, such as New York’s Madison Square Garden in the USA and Castel de Paris in Monte Carlo have been enhanced by the beauty of the company’s work.
Usually painted in industrial coatings, the Tagliafico creations will now be painted in Mason CT products, one of Akzo Nobel’s commercial vehicle refinish paint systems.
“We are delighted to be working with such a prestigious company,” said Raffaele Ciampini, Marketing Manager of Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes in Italy.
“While most of our products are used on cars and commercial vehicles, the technical properties of the Mason CT system provide the Tagliafico lampposts with a top quality finish and an extremely high degree of protection."
Tagliafico chose to work with Akzo Nobel due to the quality of the commercial vehicle product and the high level of technical support provided by the company.
