The latest concert to be staged as part of Akzo Nobel’s Young Talent program takes place in Singapore this week.
Launched in 1994, the internationally renowned scheme offers talented musicians the opportunity to work with acclaimed orchestras and conductors from all over the world.
The Singapore concert—being held on September 6—will be the 26th in the series and will feature soloist Marie-Nicole Lemieux (contralto) accompanied by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
Belgium will host the final concert of 2002 in November, when the soloists will be Gwyneth Wentink (harp) and Baiba Skride (violin).
