The Beatles sang about one and now Akzo Nobel has helped one to surface in the Fab Four’s home town of Liverpool in the UK.
’s a yellow submarine, of course, which has been renovated by a charity organization and is moored in the city’s Salthouse Dock area.
16-meter long vessel was recovered from a 1980s music festival and when help was needed to transform it into the famous yellow submarine of the song title, staff from International Marine Coatings were standing by.
arranged a substantial discount for the top quality, durable paint and primers, which were applied by charity workers after the external areas had been grit blasted.
is now hoped that the submarine will become a must-see tourist attraction for every Beatles fan visiting the city.
