In his CEO statement, Thierry Vanlancker says that despite the odds being stacked against the company, AkzoNobel reacted quickly to the significant challenges posed by COVID-19 during the year and reached a significant milestone.
“All our hard work during the last three years paid off and we reached our Winning together: 15 by 20 ambition, despite the unparalleled headwinds. The fact that we weathered the storm so well demonstrates our new-found resilience and I’m extremely proud of how we continued to look after our customers and performed together as an organization.”
Sustainability is integrated throughout the online report, which includes an extensive section structured around the company’s “People. Planet. Paint.” ambitions and approach to sustainable business.
