Driving Them Wild

Rock music giants Bon Jovi have quite literally taken to the road to help publicize their forthcoming UK tour.

Marshall Arts came up with the novel idea of adorning long distance haulage vehicles with giant graphics advertising the group’s One Wild Night tour dates—a task which was music to Akzo Nobel’s ears.

company’s Car Refinishes business, through its Mason Graphics and Livery division, produced a huge mobile billboard which will be seen on articulated trailers by thousands of motorists.

“The use of independently-owned commercial vehicles to advertise goods and services for other companies is an exciting and developing new medium,” explained Leigh Dorling from Mason Graphics.

“The medium is still in its infancy, but the future looks promising based on similar advertising successes in the taxi and bus businesses.”
