Russian Training Center Opened

The Car Refinishes business of Akzo Nobel recently opened a new purpose-built training complex in Moscow.

Akzo Nobel’s Car Refinishes business has opened a new purpose-built training center, warehouse and office block in Moscow.

The center, which marks the completion of a major investment in Russia, is the 62nd Car Refinishes Instruction Center (CRIC) in the organization’s global network.

More than 60 importers and distributors from all over Russia, Central Europe, the Balkans and the Far East attended the opening of the new facility, when the first car panel to be coated at the new center was ceremoniously painted.

“Now we have fantastic new facilities in Moscow and customers can attend training in a brand new state-of-the-art CRIC,” said Alexey Goliukov, Profit Center Leader CR Russia. “Having the office on the same site means all our people are together, improving communication and making for better customer service.”

Added Jozef Loncke, Market Manager CR Europe East: “This marks the completion of a major investment by Akzo Nobel in Moscow and demonstrates our commitment to continued growth in Russia.”
