silver prize went to Holden’s in Norwich, with the bronze being picked up by Taylor’s Accident Repair in Hull.
selected is an international network of independent collision repair businesses which was launched by Akzo Nobel’s Car Refinishes operation in 1975.
than 1,000 bodyshops are now members of the quality-led program, which uses products and repair systems developed by Sikkens.
“It was an amazing evening,” said Acoat manager, Rab Lee.
“We have been to several awards ceremonies where a number of partners have been shortlisted, but we never expected all three shortlisted bodyshops to win all of the awards.”
Acoat program lays down very strict quality criteria for its members, who can also be found in countries such as Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, France, Canada and the United States.
